POPULAR GHANAIAN ACTRESS FALLS IN LOVE WITH WIZKID

Popular Nigerian music artiste, Wizkid, has caught the love and admiration of notable Ghollywood actress, Joselyn Dumas.

The beautiful diva recently expressed the huge admiration she has for the star Boyz boss, Wizkid.

They both hooked up at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja for the Acoustic Night event over the weekend.

Sharing her experience with the Ojuelegba crooner, Joselyn posted a photo of herself and Wizkid on Instagram and wrote:

“When God gives you a gift, it is a responsibility to use it to bless and inspire others.

@wizkidayo a perfect example of a great talent with so much humility.Acoustic night was a night with amazing pure talents. Good bye Nigeria, see you soon.”

She also met Darey Art Alade whom she shared a table with at the event.

ACTOR, IME BISHOP SURVIVES NEAR PLANE CRASH: ARIK AIR AGAIN

Just some few days ago, Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri, disclosed how some of her properties were stolen aboard an Arik Air flight, a colleague of hers has also come out to complain about the same flight over its negligence in terms of services.

Comic actor, Ime Bishop, has expressed his sad reservation about the poor management team of Arik Air flight after the plane was discovered to be faulty about 35 minutes of take off and had to return back to the airport without the team caring about the lives in the plane.

The actor who so much adores his family stated that he was so disappointed with the management for not attending to them thanking God that the plane did not crash.

According to him, “I was aboard an Arik flight from Lagos to Uyo scheduled originally for 7am and rescheduled for 11am today. We were told over 35 minutes mid air that the engines are over heated and we were left with no choice but to return to Lagos. I was scared, livid, frustrated yet grateful to God for a safe landing even though it was a near crash experience. Till now no Arik staff has come to us to enquire as to what the case was and to proffer a possible way forward. Now that really sucks! A fragment of thought that could point to my crashing and leaving behind my sweet wife and beautiful daughter will for a long time make me say thunder fire Arik.”

EXCLUSIVE: THE UNTOLD STORY OF HOW LAGOS BABE WAS VOMITING BLOOD (VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED)

Tongues are wagging in Lagos State especially Ikorodu, over how a young lady who was said to have been so expressive of her womanhood and was full of life falls victim of ritualists.

The incident that happened on Thursday 13th of August, 2015 according to reports has it that the lady was said to be one of the happening babes in town, although she likes doing her things in her own little way.

Arewa (pseudonym) in her twenties had allegedly gone out in answer to a call from an Aristo where we learnt she finally met her waterloo.

An eye witness/road side trader who spoke on condition of anonymity revealed thus:
“ I was attending to one of my customers when a middle aged man pack his car in front of me at Benson Bus/stop, Ikorodu to drop a lady and before I could blink my eyes; the man had jumped in the car and zoomed off.

I noticed the lady he drops look pale and weak but I thought maybe she’s not feeling too well. I was still trying to open up conversation with her when she started vomiting blood. I alerted people that are around and in a twinkle of an eye, over hundreds of people gathered around her.

At the initially stage, we thought it was a medical condition and we were trying to rush her to the hospital when one Alfa that also witnessed the incident after doing some prayers for the lady hinted us that the lady has been used by ritualists and her chance of surviving is very slim.” The road side trader squealed.

She further said: “We were still trying to do all we could to save her from dying when a particular woman recognized the lady and quickly rushed to her parent’s house to inform them about their daughter’s plight.

About 20 minutes later, the lady’s parents came to Benson Bus-stop and use a car to whisk their daughter away.

What I truly don’t know is if the lady survives the incident or not cos I couldn’t leave my market to follow them.” The trader concluded

However, people around Benson Bus-Stop also unanimously agree that the lady’s unadulterated fun seeking lifestyle helped fan the flames that caused her recent ordeals.

MAY D PLANS TO RELOCATE TO LEKKI?

Lekki area of Lagos State is one area celebrities have comfortably turned to their homes. Apart from being a posh area, the seaside location of the zone makes it attractive to the wealthy in the society.

This has made it very common to see artistes leave Lagos Mainland for the Island immediately money starts coming in and sometimes, it is to show that ‘I belong to the high class too’.

Though there are high class areas in Lagos Mainland like Magodo, Ikeja GRA, Omole Estate, but showbiz personalities prefer to have houses in Lekki area. Only few celebs including May D, P-Square, Oritsefemi and others live on the Mainland.

Some days ago, May D recounted a sad experience he had in the hands of men of the Nigeria Police and he revealed that he might consider leaving his Magodo abode for the Island like his other colleagues.

He alleged that police officers harassed him for using a hover board, and that the policeman even threatened to shoot him.

May D had said, “I'm not going to keep quiet on this, they used tear gas on me and assaulted me even they almost shot me just for using my hover board at Shoprite; what illiterates. Brought out a gun to shoot me for what? Anyway, they will say we are in Naija and nothing will happen, no wonder peeps don't like Mainland. This thing is really baffling me because don't they know what it is?

With the hint, it seems the singer is seriously considering relocating, at least, to roll well with his colleagues on the Island, especially Davido.

Helen Mukoro Idisi, a Nigerian born Spanish lawyer, criminologist, forensic expert and writer, recently emerged the presidential candidate of an opposition party for the forthcoming election in Spain.

Ms Idisi made history to become the first woman and an immigrant to emerge presidential flag bearer of a political party. She will be running on the platform of Union De Todos, a party she founded earlier this year.

Giving an insight on the main reasons she's running for the presidential hot seat, Helen said she actually went into politics because; she wants to get more involved in decisions that affect the citizens and ensure good. legacy for to future generations.

" I saw the need to go into politics as a means to making my explanation of political leadership that suits the interest of the people and I’m ready to listen and care for the needs of constituents.”

Helen was born in Delta State and worked briefly in the Governor’s Office before she traveled to Spain in 1992. She gained prominence in Spanish politics, when she founded a political party and later became the first Nigerian-Spanish to contest for the Mayor of Denia in May this year.

Although she lost the election, her popularity soared higher as several people endorsed him for the highest office in the land.

She is the daughter of Mr. Anthony Mukoro (the late Director General of the Defunct Bendel state Government Treasury’s Cash Office, and Mrs. Mary Mukoro.

Meanwhile, the 2015 Spanish general election would be held on or before Sunday, December 20, 2015.

Daughter of embattled president of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Ibinabo Fiberesima, Zino, has starred in a new flick directed by her mother.

Zino is the product of an affair between the former beauty and ace Nollywood actor, Fred Amata, some years ago.

The young girl is acting in the flick entitled ‘Gifted’ alongside top actors in the movie industry, including Segun Arinze, a former president of AGN.

Ibinabo and Fred Amata are still friends, though the former has married.

Primitive is a period drama shot in the second quarter of 2015. It was directed by Iyke Odife (Burning Tears, Beauty and the Beast), and it stars Chioma Akpotha, Nnenna Nwabueze, Diamond Okechi, Mike Odiachi, Toni Frederick Okoli, and Kyrian Ekwenze. Primitive is set in 1913, in Abame, a community in the eastern part of Nigeria.

The film is about the resistance of the people of Abame to the advent of Christianity, and the ensuing clash (physical and supernatural) between the people of the community and the colonial authorities.
