Eleven (11) sex workers have been arrested by the Asokwa District Police
Command in Ghana after one of them Allegedly committed murder as she
pushed her client to his death through the window in a well known brothel
in Kumasi, Ghana.
The incident took place at Anidaso Hotel in Kumasi metropolis of the
Ashanti region on a Sunday being the 10th of May, 2020.
The deceased could be in his 30's and he met his death when he had gone
to indulge in the desirable services of a prostitute.
According to eye witness, the deceased was seen naked and was still
wearing a condom as he landed and was kicked to the next parish (died).
The onlooker said they first heard loud voices coming out from one of the
rooms in the brothel and they assumed it was a normal argle-bargle
(argument) between the prostitutes until they saw that someone had been
murdered.
From the preliminary investigation by the police, it was disclosed that the
deceased wasn't a regular customer at the hotel, and had threatened to kill
the sex worker.
Mr Christopher Owosu Mpianin, who is the Asokwa District Police
superintendent while speaking to the Joy news said that the police is
currently carrying out investigations about the matter to determine the true
cause of his death.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Komfo Anokye
Teaching Hospital morgue for identification and autopsy.
