Ekiti hospital authorities worried over missing nurse

Ado Ekiti—The management of Federal Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti, has expressed concern over the whereabouts of a staff nurse in the hospital, Mrs. Margaret Aladenika, who was kidnapped by gunmen last weekend
Aladenika was kidnapped while travelling from Ipere-Ekiti to Iludun-Ekiti, along with her husband and another occupant of the vehicle.
It was learned that the nurse was taken away at gunpoint by the kidnappers, who also killed one of the occupants of the car.
Briefing newsmen at the hospital in Ado Ekiti yesterday, the Chief Medical Director, CMD, of the hospital, Dr. Lawrence Majekodunmi, expressed concern over the whereabouts and safety of the staff nurse
He also expressed concern about the attitude of some youths in the town who staged a protest a few days ago over the non-appointment of indigenes of the town in any federal institution, dismissing the claim as untrue.
He said the youths invaded the hospital and disrupted all official and medical activities, barely four days after the nurse was kidnapped.
